Review : Go Native

Go Native is a casual dining restaurant located in Jayanagar, it's a pure vegetarian restaurant serving vegan options and Jain food as well.

lovely Ambiance, its a house converted into a restaurant, a very well planned arrangement of wooden floor, tables and seating. they have both indoor and semi open air seating arrangements. overall the whole Ambiance theme feels like mix and match of vintage, modern decorations and very artistic looks. as the name suggest Go Native, it is themed to live up to a feeling of nostalgia of visiting to a native. they have setup an organic shop on the ground floor selling lots of different stuffs, ranging from cosmetics to food products. the dine in place is on the first floor.

talking about food, food menu is South Indian and North Indian cuisine. food menu is categorized into desserts, large plates, small plates, soups and salads. the menu spread includes many innovative stuffs which are prepared in a very unique fashion, food presentation is really mesmerizing, the menu spread includes mix of South Indian, North Indian and few continental items. cool thing about this place is that the menu keeps changing every 3 months, season to season, so people always have a reason to come back and visit again to try out the newly curated items.

we started our course of our meal with a hydrating booster, it's nothing but a fresh glass of watermelon juice with zero added sugar, very refreshing. then a thick creamy mushroom soup. then we had wheat grain avocado salad, a very nutritious salad served on a tawa plate made from whole soaked wheat grains with mashed avocados, very healthy and tasty. we had roasted pumpkin saldad, a healthy snack. choco peanut butter shake was amazing, assorted mini burger sliders were my favorites, the serving includes 3 mini burgers with different version of patties in each burger, the patties were made from avocado, broccoli and mix veg. then we had methi kadubu with maddie vade crips, the taste was of a traditional savory experience, millet pizza is one of the must try for pizza lovers, we had a choley biryani with stuffed parawal, a biryani made from chickpeas. lastly we had mysore pak with lemon cheese cream and gulab jamun pudding with avacado kalkand in desserts, very satisfying sweetness of traditional desserts with modern touch

prompt service, food served was right on time, good level of hospitality shown towards the customer by staff, this place is a vegetarians paradise with so many items which may sound familiar but they are innovated to different versions from their original recipe ranging in different flavors and taste and attractively presented. definitely a must places to visit for vegetarians
